It never fails to leave one mesmerized with a breathtaking view of Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river, an amazing Skybar and quality Mediterranean fare with ingredients from the world’s best markets. Live jazz music featuring vocalists of international repute, adds to its captivating ambiance for a perfect evening.
Sirocco sure stands out towering above other locations. It will be a memorable – dining under the sky before adjourning to the Skybar for a few drinks.

We have no information available on the chef that was cooking our meal in 2008. Because Sirocco was fully booked, we got a table in the “Breeze” restaurant on the 62nd floor.
We just had some small starters and two Thai dishes (one of them was duck) as we thought the prices were quite high for Bangkok standards. Food was OK, but as mentioned this place is more about the location and the view than the food. These pictures I found on Tripadvisor capture the food experience quite good: Thai food, presented on a contemporary matter – but nothing special.
When you know food costs 10-20 times less 63 floors down, you better think twice before spending yor Bath here.
The restaurants in this building have good wine lists, yet quite expensive.
The “Belgian Taste Buds” Experience
This place is about the experience and the view in particular. We are very happy we visited this restaurant and will return here in the future. However, it will be for a drink only.
Belgian Taste Buds:
– Food Buds 6/10
– Wine Pairing Buds 6/10
– Price/Quality Buds 4/10*
– Experience Buds 9/10
*Compared to Bangkok restaurants.
