The Place

Hotel Mardaga is a hotel and restaurant in As, a small town in Limburg. The hotel boasts 18 luxury and spacious rooms and is located in front of the train station of As. The premises are 104 years old, which makes the hotel one of the oldest hotels in Limburg. Service and hospitality are very important, and guest are invited to relax and enjoy a night out with gourmet cuisine.

The interior of the hotel and restaurant is luxurious, classic and a bit bombastic. The rooms are currently being renovated and the dining rooms will also receive an upgrade in the future.

The Chef

The restaurant at Hotel Mardaga is awarded with a 13/20 Gault Millau score and the Michelin guide listed the place with three culinary forks. Chef at service is Jens Stinissen, who prepares classic cuisine with contemporary twists. Jens previously worked at 2 Michelin star De Slagmolen, where he learned the tips and tricks of classic & luxurious cooking.

The Food

Traditional Belgian dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and with respect for the products. Authentic, rich sauces insert the dishes with taste and big eaters are well catered here.
