We visited the restaurant for a special dinner “4 mains vertes” (“green 4 hands”), where chefs Eric and Tristan Martin from Lemonnier and Christophe Pauly from ‘Le coq aux Champs’ offered an exceptional menu “only vegetables” on Monday, September 29 2014. Le Coq aux Champs was also elected as the best vegetable restaurant in Wallonia and Luxemburg that day by Gault&Millau, so there was a double reason to celebrate.
The menu was composed out of 4 appetisers, 3 dishes from Eric & Tristan, and 3 dishes from Christophe. It was an interesting experience to taste a vegetarian-only menu from the two chefs, and based on this menu we will definitely visit their restaurants in the future to discover more of their culinary art.
